Obituary
The most important thing about the dates above is the Dash! Mary’s dash started when she was born Mary Alice Stewart on August 16, 1952, in Tyronza, Arkansas. Born to Otis Leon & Alice Inez Stewart. Her dash was surrounded by amazing brothers and sisters. She was preceded to those glory gates by her father, mother, and her older brother Thomas Douglas Stewart. She is survived by siblings, Joan Blankenship, David Stewart (Shirley), Bill Stewart (Linda), Diane Williams (Jerry), Martha Stewart, and Debbie Romero. They made her childhood dash eventful! In 1964, at Lerdo Jr. High, Mary met the love of her life, Frankie Keith Morris. For 58 years, through Jr. High and High School at Shafter High (Class of 1970), Keith and Mary were inseparable, and they spent 52 years lovingly married! During that part of her “Dash” she gave birth to two children, Jason Mitchell on July 30, 1973, and Kimberly Inez (Andy Lira) on July 30, 1976, what a miracle!! Jason and Kim gave her 5 amazing grandkids, Tyler Michelle, Bailey Inez, Jonah Dawson, Carter Patrick, and Nolan Andres, all of which experienced her love! She also accepted Tracy Talley & her beautiful girls, Haley, Marissa, and Sydney as family. She loved and was loved by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as many close friends that may as well have been family. Family was at the heart of everything she did! Biological or not, she loved every single person she considered her “family”! An amazing and beautiful soul that will be missed but never forgotten! Special Thanks that provided care toward the end of her dash. Thank you Yolanda, Linda, & Michelle as well as Traditions Health Hospice Care.
