Betty Jo Williams was born January 1, 1948 in Bakersfield, California and passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday December 20, 2022.
Betty is preceded in death by her Mother Stella Mae Shumard, Father Jim Tripp, Brothers Ricky and Danny Tripp, Sisters Marylou and Janice Tripp, Baby Tripp Twins, and Granddaughter Samantha Leann Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Stan Williams, Son “Boo” and Daughter In Law Shawna, Son Gary. Grandson Andy and Fiance Brittany, Grandsons Austin, Tyler (Mother Bernadette) and Clayton. Granddaughter Alicia and Husband Zachary Combs. Great Granddaughters Samantha and Hensley. Great Grandsons Hayden, Lane and Banxton. Sisters Audrey and Janette, Brothers Jimmy and Shorty and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was the owner of Betty’s Diner, the Amtrack train at Sandstone Brick and Lumber. Betty and her Husband are the owner’s of Stan’s Discount Rooter and Plumbing Repair, Inc. Betty was a loyal member of Church On The Way Ministries. She enjoyed traveling to the Beach and across the States. She loved her dogs! She was a wonderful Wife, Mom and Granny. She never knew a stranger. Pop (her Husband) called her a 105 pounds of pure fury. Her spit fire wit and attitude will be missed by all who loved her.
Funeral Services will be held Monday January 9, 2023 at 11:00am at Greenlawn Southwest 2739 Panama Lane Bakersfield, Ca 93313 at the Celebration Of Life Building “D”. Graveside service immediately follows at Shafter Cemetery 18662 Santa Fe Way Shafter, Ca 93263
