Barbara Irene Brazeau, 74, Green Bay, WI, passed away after a lengthy battle with health issues, on April 19, 2023. Barbara was born in Keweenaw Bay, MI, to the late Earl and Helen Brazeau, on April 25, 1948. After high school Barbara worked at Gambles Department Store and Celotex. She left MI and lived in many different places until settling in Bakersfield, CA, where she managed Rosedale Village RV Park, until her retirement in 2015, when she moved to Green Bay, WI. Barbara enjoyed cooking and hosting get-togethers with her friends. Barbara is survived by her son Steve (Kim) Haapala of Suamico, WI; grandsons Darren (Jenn) Tammelin and Michael Affentranger of Bakersfield, CA; granddaughter Lizzie Haapala of Suamico, WI; step grandchildren Elizabeth (Myles) Lade of Wrightson, WI, and Bryce (Larissa) Nelsen of El Paso, TX; and great-granddaughter Aubree Tammelin. She is further survived by sister Helen (Lee) Grondin of Maricopa, AZ and son-in-law Henry Affentranger of Bakersfield, CA; as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to her parents and stepfather, William Etapa, she is proceeded in death by her daughter Jean Affentranger; sisters Nancy Albarran and Marie Hermanson; and brother Nathan Etapa. Per Barbara’s wishes no service will be held and she will be laid to rest in Bakersfield, CA. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Unity Hospice; Tom Bouchonville and Kim Bader for all their support.
