Christian Alexander Chavez was born in Sylmar, California, on January 7, 1994 to Rene Chavez. He was raised by his grandmother Maria Chavez, in San Fernando Valley and Van Nuys and had recently moved to Buttonwillow. Chris played soccer for the FIFA, liked music, boxing and had a great personality. He was outgoing, caring, and loved family gatherings. Christian was a great son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed and loved by all who knew him. Chris is survived by his loving father, Rene Chavez; grandmother, Maria Chavez; brothers, Aaron, Henry, Paul, Ramon, Rene and Oswaldo; sisters, Claudia, Missael, and Veronica,Abigail; uncles, Lupe, Beto, Giovany, Jhovany, David, Luis; aunts, Mona, Luz, Meche, Maribel, Gema; cousins, nieces and nephews, Jessica, Erika, Johan, Jacob, Eli, Dora, Jessie, Gisel, Benji, Carlitos, Katy, Yaneli, Martha, Larry, Brandon, Oswaldo Jr., Evelyn, Raymon, Bella, Andrew, Lila, Beto and German. Holy Rosary will be recited Friday, January 27 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Christian Alexander Chavez, age 18, of Buttonwillow who passed away January 23, 2012 in Buttonwillow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be said Saturday, January 28 at 1:30pm at St. Therese’s Catholic Church. Fr.
