Darleen was born in Shafter, California and passed away on January 9th, with her husband and oldest daughter by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eugene Strauss, 4 children, Cheryl Barr, Tricia Lacy, Mick Strauss and Verlon Strauss as well as 12 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren and her brother, Claremore Fenderson.

Darleen's memorial will be held at the Hillcrest SDA Church, 2600 Kenwood Rd. Bakersfield, Ca on February 11th, at 4:00 PM.
