Obituary for Gloria Heredia Hernandez
Gloria Heredia Hernandez was born in Amarillo, Texas on October 6, 1949 to Pauline (Heredia) and Henry Alonzo. Gloria raised her three children and loved them with all her heart. She worked in the deli department for many years at Apple Market. Gloria enjoyed spending time at the casino when she had a chance to travel to Tachi Palace with friends and family. She will be remembered for her kindness, humble spirit and loving gestures she shared will everyone. Gloria went home to be with the Lord… on April 12, 2017 in Bakersfield, California.
She is survived by her children Richard Jr., Jennifer and Christina; sisters Sabrina Wallace and Josephine Salazar; brothers Alex Cruz, Daniel Cruz, Jesse Cruz, Robert Cruz and Marcos Cruz. Gloria is preceded in death by her mother Paulina Heredia Cruz and her brother Manuel Cruz Sr.
A Viewing will be held Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter, California followed by Chapel Service on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 10am.
