Obituary
Kevin Anthony Reimer, 66, went to his heavenly home, unexpectedly on Friday, December 2nd, 2022.
Kevin was born on June 15, 1956 in Bakersfield, CA. Growing up, he attended Rosedale School and Rosedale Bible Church. Kevin accepted Christ and was baptized at a very young age. He attended North High School where he enjoyed playing trumpet in band. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business from California State University, Bakersfield.
Kevin met the love of his life, Sandra, as a camp counselor at Hartland Christian Camp. After they met, they soon married and began a family. They had three daughters Kara, Heather, and Michelle. Kevin was always their biggest cheerleader and supporter. In recent years, his biggest joy had been experiencing life with his grandchildren.
Kevin worked in industrial sales for the West Coast for over 40 years, where he worked mostly with the oil industry. Kevin was someone who made friends everywhere he went and loved spending time with his friends, especially for lunch.
Kevin enjoyed old trucks, fast cars, and motorcycles. He loved visiting Morro Bay with his wife Sandra and going to the candy shops and Dorn’s Breakers Cafe. He also enjoyed camping with his wife and family on the coast and spoiling his grandchildren. Many people would describe Kevin as passionate, full of life, with a good sense of humor, and a loud talker. His friends and family will miss him dearly.
Kevin is preceded in death by his mother Aldean Reimer, brother Michael Reimer, and father-in-law Harry Willems.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Reimer; his daughters Kara Ward (spouse Jeff Ward), Heather Lundin (spouse Matt Lundin), Michelle Johnston (spouse Sam Johnston); his grandchildren Elijah Ward, Asher Ward, Abigail Lundin, and Sadie Lundin; his mother-in-law Elvina Willems and his extended Willems family, and his sister Claudia Moore and her family.
To honor Kevin, a graveside service will be held at Shafter Memorial Park on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10am, followed by a celebration of life at Rosedale Bible Church at 11am. A visitation will be held at Peter’s Funeral Home Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm.
