Francisco “Kiko” Verdugo was born February 12, 1987 in Bakersfield, California and passed away August 30, 2020 in San Fernando, California.
He was full of life, had a contagious laugh, lived for music & his family. You never knew what "Kiko" you would get-the sweetest or the craziest. Many have shared laughs with his character & he was a soul so special that left a lasting impression on not only family but many others from different towns when he would be with his Mom. His legacy will live on & he will always be our family's baby.
A true solider until his last breath-whether it was him faking a seizure to scare his sister while in the hospital, blowing kisses, sticking his tongue out or more importantly putting that thumbs up no matter how bad things were. He fought the good fight & won the race.He reached his final destination & soared high with his wings he'll always be a warrior. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
A Celebration of Life in memory of Francisco "Kiko" Verdugo will be held on Thursday, September 10th, 2020: 6-10pm at the Basham & Lara Funeral Care 343 State Ave, Shafter, CA 93263 with Pastor Johnny Martinez. Following Friday, September 11th, 2020: 10am graveside Service at Shafter Cemetery.
